The Stage, Tel Aviv's premiere English-language performing arts organization, is now presenting its first ever production for young audiences, LUNA, by Ramon Esquivel. Enjoy this sweet, interactive performance fit for the whole family (especially for English-speaking children ages 6-12) through this weekend. The tale follows the moon, Luna, and her good friend Soledad.

Soledad is the daughter of migrant farm workers, so they are constantly being uprooted as "workers go where the work is", but because they never stay in one place for very long, Soledad's only friend is the moon. Young and young-at-heart audiences can relate to Soledad's dreams for more, and her inner conflict with solidifying friendships, yet still making her parents happy. The dialogue is thoughtful and symbolic and the lighting, interactive set design and way that the actors address the audience makes for a special performance that is endearing for all ages.

LUNA is a play about family and friendship, and the ways in which our differences are what make us most like one another. Director Abraham Benson-Goldberg, along with six other locals actors, presents this heartwarming play to the Tel Aviv community.
