Mike Brant, the son of poor Holocaust survivors from Haifa, burst into the consciousness of the Israeli youth in the 1960's. Brant's personal story of being born in a Cypriot refugee camp to Holocaust-survivor-parents, made Brant a source of interest and admiration for the media and Israeli audiences as a whole. From his tough childhood in Haifa, to the fateful moment in which he was discovered in a Turkish night club by the French singer Sylvie Vertan until his tragic death at the age of 28,  Brant's ability to inspire anyone who dares to dream of breaking the glass ceiling was part of what made him such a role model for people not only in Israel but around the world.

Visitors to the exhibition are expected to have a rare glimpse into Mike Brant's personal moments through the collection of original items that were preserved during his lifetime and after his tragic death which occurred on April 25, 1975, when depression and an inability to cope with his success led Brant to jump from the window of an apartment to his death. He was 28 and although he died in Paris, he was buried in his childhood city of Haifa.

Also on display at the museum are gold records, awards and certificates, first exposed images from his private album, parts of the documentary film "Mike Brant: Laisse-moi t'aimer" and all kinds of collectibles from statuettes, artworks and fan albums to portraits taken throughout his career years, articles and pages of international magazines, original manuscripts and more.

Mike Brant's personal fashion items reflect on the decade of the iconic seventies and are considered to be very important artifacts in modern fashion history, emphasizing the individuality, unique attire and androgenic silhouettes characterized by this time period.
