Over 90 participants, and 26 musicians from abroad and international collaborations are taking part in a musical celebration that brings New Orleans jazz straight to Tel Aviv. The exciting music of the Deep South city will fill the Tel Aviv Museum and the plaza outside for three days, in all the variations of jazz, gypsy jazz, swing, boogie-woogie, blues, big band and more.

Among the artists of note: Oliver Franc from France and the Sidney Bechet Messengers, an evening of tribute to great female singers Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday and Sarah Vaughn by the Europe Social Club, Gospel and blues with British singer Denise Gordon and the Eyal Vilner Big Band from the U.S.

There will also be exciting lectures (don’t miss PhD. Raz Yitzhaki’s take on ‘The Birth of Jazz in New Orleans’) as well as outdoor shows held every evening open to the public. Join in on a 1930s swing party and local beloved Marsh Dondurma, rocking with the audience and the spirit of New Orleans at its finest.
