The 15th French Film Festival features this year’s award-winning films and classics to match

Celebrating 15 years, this edition of the French Film Festival will include films with almost 40 nominations for the French César Awards and many other french film competitions. From the most successful films of 2017-2018 to four of the best french classics, the diverse program showcases an intriguing array of films that ponder the history of social culture and the complexity of the human race.

The visually stunning Au Revoir L-Haut, candidate for 13 César awards, will kick off the festival. Plus, Albert Dupontel, the director and lead actor, will arrive for the festival’s grand opening March 13th. Other esteemed guests include Robert Gidigan and his wife, actress Arian Escarid, showing their film, House by the Sea.

The festival is also proud to announce that more than half of the films have female protagonists and five of the films were created by female directors.

The films are translated into Hebrew and most also have an English option.

The festival will take place across Israel in cinemas in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Herzliya, Sderot, and Rosh Pinna. Come enjoy the best of French culture from March 13th to April 7th.
