Co-founder of The Beach Boys, widely acclaimed as one of the most innovative songwriters of the late 20th century, is hitting the White City.

Songwriter of more than two dozen Top 40 hits, Wilson was the first pop artist credited for writing, arranging, producing, and performing his own songs. Known as the originator of the California surf rock and the “godfather” to an era of indie musicians influenced by his melodic sensibilities, pop orchestrations, and recording creativity, Brian Wilson was a musical genius, inspiration, and legend.

United with his old Beach Boys bandmates, Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin, the crew prepares a lineup of sounds that never go out of style, the beloved soundtrack of 60s California. With their lovely jazz-based vocal harmonies, early surf music, and unique sound, they were one of the most commercially successful and most widely influential bands of all time. Rolling Stone magazine’s No. 12 on “Greatest Artists of All Time” is still going strong, prepared to perform some of their classics like Surfin’ USA, California Girls, I Get Around, Help Me, Ronda, Surfin’ Safari, and much, much more.

Rock out California surfer style, to the founders of the California sound, August 7th at Menora Mivtachim. Tickets are on sale from NIS 199-690 at www.leaan.co.il.
