Gluten-free gluttony

Just before Pesach, Gluteria, an annual pop-up restaurant and gluten-free deli by chef Eran Zino, is re-opening its doors (and not just for Elijah). Gluteria's gluten-free kitchen will fulfill every celiac’s fantasies – rich, tasty, and varied dishes with a large selection of breads and cakes.

This year, Gluteria will make its return appearance in the magnificent space of the Noor Culture Club in Jaffa, where they have decided to refashion their pop-up as a take-out spot, where you can enjoy their delightful dishes around the tables outside or in the comfort of your own home. Indulge in bruschetta topped with salmon and spinach, short rib empanadas with spices, barbecue glaze, and pickled vegetables, or chicken curry atop a bed of egg noodles with pumpkin, spinach, cherry tomatoes, and peanuts. In addition to their decadent gluten-free dishes, Gluteria’s store will sell a variety of special breads such as quinoa, flax, olive, and Kashkaval bread, plus vine leaves, and more.

Bread prices: NIS 28-36. There will also be a variety of baked goods, including: baked cheesecake, lemon cake, poppy seed cake, carrot cake, chocolate brownies, and fruit tarts, pineapple cake made from almond dough.

Resort to this

If ethnic textiles, foreign landscapes and artisanal craftsmanship all make you go weak at the knees, this Passover pop-up shop, Rezôrt, will make you giddy. The designer concept brings the beauty and intrigue of Morocco to Tel Aviv with a range of hand-picked collections that celebrate life and incite wanderlust. The Rezôrt Collection, composed of everything from authentic rugs and gorgeous lighting fixtures to printed dishes, cozy pillows and covetable garments, was created to shine a light on the various communities that make up the Moroccan marketplace and empower the individuals and businesses behind them, while promoting fair trade to give back.

To spread the good and make an impact on as many people as possible, the Rezôrt Foundation was also established. Every quarter the designers partner with six new charity organizations from around the world and donate 2.5% of the profits from the Rezôrt Collection.
The pop-up offering includes Moroccan fragrances, fashion, and home decor, and got its start in Tulum and Los Angeles before heading to Tel Aviv. Don’t miss out, as the event will take place in the Noor Compound in Jaffa for 10 days only, running through Passover. As if the holiday doesn’t have us longing for enough things we cannot have, this designer display is just the icing on the (flourless) cake.
