Café Getzel

This sidewalk café captures the creative spirit of Shapira, complete with a wooden paneled bar, interior walls adorned in colored beads, and ethereal shades made from small pieces of white fabric. Neighborhood residents Roi Gat and Efrat Felner established the café after Felner moved to Shapira and was captivated with its community atmosphere; Getzel quickly became a local gathering place, with pleasant outdoor seating and recurrent second hand sales. The menu of home cooked food is a mix of seasonal flavors including vegan friendly curries, freshly roasted vegetables, and specialty infused juices.
