The happening Noga neighborhood, snugly situated between Yafo and Florentine, is home to not one, not two, but five distinct cafes serving some of the best java in Tel Aviv

Albert + Alba

The homey, laid back Albert brings a backyard family vibe to the cobblestoned Noga sidewalks. It has scrumptious food, fresh juices, shakes, pastries, and, of course, caffeine-of-your-choice. The husband-and-wife owners, regularly schmoozing with patrons, give the cafe a local vibe. They recently opened Albert’s adorable sister store Alba right next door, the first health food store in the neighborhood.

Albert + Alba, 6 Bat Ami St, open at 8am daily, open on Saturday

Cafelix Sgula
Ben Yuster

Cafelix Sgula

Cafelix is the third-wave coffee standard of Tel Aviv. Their Sgula location is their smallest that also doubles as their roasting facilities where they ship out the beans to their other locations. The coffee here is no doubt the best in the neighborhood, and regulars are granted their very own glass cup. As the location lacks much seating, take your drinks to sit near the park across the street. Also, don’t miss out on their scrumptious breakfast sandwiches and pastries.

Cafelix, 15 Sgula St, open at 7am daily, closed on Saturday

Urban Bakery
David Benardete

Urban Bakery

Urban is an upscale bakery with excellent pastries, sandwiches, soups and to-go goods: breads, cheeses, olives and more! Their beverage options, from coffee to fresh squeezed OJ, also do the trick. The crowd tends to be a bit older, with many laptop wielders clacking away throughout the day. It has ample space, both inside and outside.

Urban Bakery, 14 Nitsana St. Open at 7am daily, closed on Saturday

While not technically a cafe, this upscale French restaurant does not skimp on making a good espresso.Their sprawling location with a beautiful backyard patio is a great option for a late afternoon caffeine jolt, particularly after snarfing down their delicious business lunch menu and trying not to fall asleep before heading back to work.
