Spanish Folklore Meets Greek Delights
The inspiration hailed from casual Spanish tapas bars and Greek ouzerias. Fueled by a particular visit to Athens and the charming Greek taverns, Avivit (formally of 'Tapeo' restaurant) fused their creative juices and the result was to open Ouzeria. Set in south Tel Aviv's trendiest neighborhood, the restaurant was designed with elegant simplicity; a handful of tables next to large, floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the colorful Levinski Market or enjoy the lovely outside seating and soak the unique atmosphere, the expansive bar, comfortably seating 12 guests, offers onlookers a wide variety of spirits, including different variations of anise, fun cocktails, and other surprises.
Eastern and Western rhythms
The lively soundtrack, expertly curated by Ofir, oscillates between Eastern and Western rhythms, old and new mixes of Mediterranean folk music, and original contemporary stand-outs.
