Pure Studio has all kinds of fitness classes, but they also have some of the best dance classes in the city. This is the studio for bunheads looking for a strong barre. Wear your leotard and tights to Elad’s class and prepare to piqué your way across the large studio (note: Intermediate and Advanced classes are for dancers with a solid ballet background). There are plenty of other classes if ballet is not your thing, including dancehall, hip hop, gaga and zumba. You must sign up for classes in advance since they fill up and you can pay per class or take advantage of their unlimited monthly package.

Hip hop for beginners

Originally from Miami, Amber has been a dancer for some of Israeli’s hottest artists on stage and in music videos. But she created this class for everyone: dancers, non-dancers and Beyoncé lovers who just want a fun way to shake off the day with friends. Classes are in English and the exact style of hip hop changes from week to week, from J Balvin reggaeton, Rihanna sexy (heels optional), Drake chill (hats optional) to a Fergalicious throwback. Barre class to sculpt a dancer body

Other Space is a boutique exercise space that offers barre fusion, pilates and yoga classes. Founder Rut and Inbal met while dancing and decided to combine their love for dance, pilates and yoga into one place. With a maximum of six participants, classes are intimate with individual attention given to each client and their specific needs. They focus on lower body and core muscles, improving balance, flexibility, and strength. This is a welcoming space for dancers and yogis, but also for those with no dance experience and women during or post-pregnancy.

Latin, ballroom and couples classes

This is the place to go for couples dancing: Bachata, Salsa, Swing, Tango, Waltz, and Lindy Hop. They offer one-off workshops and multi-week courses for all levels so that you can not only learn a new dance, but make dance friends. Partner dancing is all about dancing in real life, so many of the groups take what they learn in the studio to the streets and the clubs. You can sign up as an individual or couple, since you will continuously change partners throughout class. They also offer dance privates for couples to prepare for their wedding.
