In the warm nights of August, Jerusalem natives and tourists alike gather outside the walls of the Old City to peruse the stalls of the International Arts and Crafts Fair. The open air artisan market showcases roughly 200 Israeli artists alongside designers from Europe, Asia, Africa, and more. The fair has an emphasis on visual art, but boasts events to please every one of your five senses, including international food vendors, interactive studio demonstrations, and musical performances from Israeli favorites such as Hadag Nahash and Aviv Geffen. Get lost amongst the stalls of ceramics, jewelry, and photography, as you immerse yourself in this 41-year-old cultural tradition.
