Africa’s rhythm is rising again — and this time, it’s coming home. Africa Is Not A Jungle lands in Johannesburg on 29 November 2025, transforming Melrose Arch into a vibrant fusion of music, art, and unapologetic African energy. This edition will feature the Black Coffee Foundation Benefit Concert, giving fans another chance to see Grammy Award-winning Black Coffee live after his much-anticipated set at the Hey Neighbour Festival was cancelled, along with the festival.
For those left disappointed by that announcement, this is the redemption gig. The benefit concert is part of Africa Is Not A Jungle’s 2025 two-city tour, kicking off in Durban on 8 November before bringing its world-class production and immersive performances to Jozi. But this isn’t just another concert, it’s a cultural statement.
The movement continues to challenge outdated perceptions, spotlighting Africa as the originator of global creativity. Expect a complete sensory takeover with genre-defying sets, striking stage design, and the event’s signature Afro-futurist aesthetic.

And there’s a purpose behind the party: R20 from every ticket sold supports the Black Coffee Foundation, which empowers South African youth and uplifts underprivileged communities. Phase 1 tickets are on sale via Howler at a cost of R620. Fans can also catch Black Coffee rounding off the season with Black Coffee Exclusive at Cabo Beach, Cape Town, on 19 December 2025.
With its mix of sound, soul, and social impact, Africa Is Not A Jungle reminds the world that Africa doesn’t follow global culture; it defines it. This isn’t just a concert; it’s proof that the world’s rhythm starts right here, at home.
