This weekend, Casalinga in Muldersdrift will become every wine lover’s dream escape for the Groves & Vineyards Festival. Think countryside charm, live music, delicious bites, and a seriously tasty wine lineup—what more could you want?

Now in its 14th year, the festival has become a staple on Johannesburg’s social calendar.

Get ready to sip and sway to South Africa’s top talent, including Kyle Cassim, Austin Cassim, Lady Lea, Pablo Lundall, El Kupa, and Plain Jane on Saturday, while Sunday brings Nicola McLeod, Tamara Dey, Grand Master Trio, and Changing Roots to the stage. 

Wine fans, your glass is about to be very busy. Expect a stellar array of winning whites and bold reds from some of the country’s top estates, with winemakers available to chat and guide you through tastings. It’s a great opportunity to level up your wine knowledge while discovering delicious new favourites.

And food? It’s next-level. Gourmet pop-ups will serve everything from artisan cheeses and freshly baked bread to charcuterie boards and full-on gourmet meals, each offering perfectly paired flavour fiestas for your taste buds.
