Although an official opening date has not yet been confirmed, excitement is already brewing among locals.
Hello Sunshine Coffee currently operates from Melrose Arch, where it has built a loyal following for its quality brews and toasted sandwiches. The menu has recently expanded to include crispy chips along with a variety of refreshing drinks, slushes, and iced coffees, perfect for Johannesburg’s warm summer days.
Food options go well beyond coffee. Guests can enjoy a range of toasted sandwiches, from classic cheese and chicken mayo to gluten-free options and avo on toast, with prices generally ranging between the mid-R40s and mid-R60s. The café also offers salads, including summer chicken mayo, grilled chicken, and fresh green bowls, as well as muffins and light bites.
For breakfast lovers, Hello Sunshine offers meals like creamy oats, ideal for a quick yet satisfying start to the day. One of the newest sweet treats on the menu is a carrot cake.
