Get ready to dance, Johannesburg, global hitmaker HUGEL is making his South African debut this November, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the hottest gigs of the year.

The French-born, Ibiza-based DJ and producer, known for chart-toppers like "Morenita," "I Adore You," and high-energy sets at Tomorrowland and Pacha, is finally touching down on local soil, and yes, he’s bringing that signature Latin tech house sound with him.

Whether you’ve been streaming his viral club edits for years or you’ve only just discovered him via TikTok or Boiler Room, one thing’s for sure: HUGEL knows how to move a crowd. His sets are a slick blend of groove, grit, and international flair, perfect for South Africa’s ever-evolving party scene.

While official venue and support act details are still under wraps, the show promises Ibiza vibes with a local twist, and we’re expecting a mix of his big-room bangers, underground edits, and maybe even a few unreleased gems.

Who is HUGEL?

HUGEL has carved out a name for himself on dance floors around the world, from Europe to the U.S. to Latin America. With more than 1.5 billion streams to his name, his music blends tech house, Latin beats and deep basslines for a sound that’s both festival-ready and irresistibly danceable.

He’s shared the stage with names like David Guetta, Diplo, and Fisher, but it’s his genre-crossing style and crowd-hyping energy that have made him a favourite on the global circuit.

HUGEL will perform in Johannesburg and Cape Town in November 2025, with the venue still to be announced and tickets coming soon. Keep an eye on Time Out for updates or pre-register for ticket info via Howler.
