Golf enthusiasts from across the globe will be heading to South Africa for the highly anticipated LIV Golf tournament, which will take place at Steyn City from 19 to 22 March. This marks the first time the tournament will be held on the African continent, and it is expected to draw thousands of spectators alongside some of the biggest names in global golf. Beyond the action on the course, the event will also feature a vibrant entertainment programme. Performances will include internationally renowned DJs Black Coffee and GoldFish, as well as global superstar Calvin Harris, among others.

With a mix of sport, live music and lifestyle experiences, the four-day event promises to be far more than just a golf tournament. 

Explore Steyn City

Steyn City offers so much more beyond the golf course. The award-winning luxury resort is one of South Africa’s most expensive estates with plenty of entertainment, world-class accommodation, restaurants and leisure activities. 

Visitors can enjoy the 300m lagoon, where they can be entertained by waterslides and take part in water sports like kayaking, SUP boards, and pedalos.

Recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is both educational and entertaining, making it a great stop for travellers who want to learn more about history.

The area also offers a relaxing environment where visitors can enjoy light meals and refreshments while taking in the beautiful natural surroundings.

Experience the wildlife

If you’re looking for a wildlife experience, you can also visit the Lion & Safari Park, which is about a 30-minute drive from Steyn City. The park offers an exciting opportunity to see a variety of animals, including lions, rhinos, buffalo, and zebras, among many others. It’s a fantastic outing for families, especially those travelling with children, and a great way to experience South Africa’s wildlife.
