Calling all art fanatics! The first Thursday of every month just got a whole lot more exciting. Melville, one of Jozi’s most iconic neighbourhoods with a rich artistic history, is bringing its beloved Art Mile.

If you’re an artist at heart or simply someone who gets a thrill from creative expression, then prepare yourself for a treat. Melville is inviting you to step into its colourful world every first Thursday of the month for an evening of art, culture, music and pure Jozi charm.

Local artists of all styles and disciplines will be showcasing their finest work, transforming the suburb into an open-air celebration of talent. From painters, sculptors, crafters, talks, and live music, expect an explosion of creativity on every corner.

The Art Mile officially kicks off on Thursday, December 4, 2025, running from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
