It’s the season to get merry, and what better way to unwind than with great food, refreshing drinks, and a vibrant atmosphere? News Cafe has stepped into summer with fresh energy, unveiling a revamped menu that promises bold flavours and plenty of reasons to celebrate.

The cafe has expanded its drinks offering, adding cocktails that capture the spirit of the season. The Diablo - a blend that brings together silver tequila, passion fruit, vanilla, apple juice, and sour mix, finished with a splash of Schweppes ginger ale for an added kick. Another newcomer, The Don, features Don Julio Blanco, lime juice, agave syrup, and a salt tincture.

The menu additions go beyond the bar. The cafe has also added new dishes to its breakfast menu to satisfy early-morning cravings. The Boerie Benedict elevates a South African favourite, pairing two perfectly poached eggs with boerewors spirals, chakalaka, and hollandaise atop a toasted English muffin.

There is also the new Waffle Benedict, which features two poached eggs over a golden waffle, complemented by bacon, avocado, and the signature hollandaise sauce.

The cafe invites guests to sip, savour, and soak up the summer mood.
