Johannesburg’s iconic fashion event, Pantone Sundays, returns. Discover the latest colour palettes, lineup details, and how to get tickets.

Dust off your monochromatic best and prepare your camera roll. Pantone Sundays, the city's premier colour-themed fashion social, is officially returning to paint the town red, or in this case, blue as the first colour for 2026.
After a hiatus that left the city’s fashionistas wandering aimlessly in beige, the event series is reclaiming its throne as the ultimate intersection of street style, curated beats, and high-saturation aesthetics.
For the uninitiated, Pantone Sundays isn't just a party; it’s a living mood board. Each edition centres around a specific Pantone colour code, challenging attendees to interpret the shade through their own personal lens. The first colour for 2026 is Twilight Blue.
“Our first colour of 2026 is a deep shade between navy and indigo, made for long afternoons that drift toward sunset,” Pantone Sundays announced via an Instagram Post.
The Vibe: High-fashion meets high-noon. It’s an afternoon-to-evening affair where the outfit is the ticket and the "Best Dressed" title is the ultimate currency.
The Sound: Expect a curated lineup of Jozi’s finest selectors, blending Neo-Soul, Amapiano, and Alternative R&B to match the day’s visual palette.
In a city as vibrant as Johannesburg, Pantone Sundays serves as a vital pulse check for the local creative economy. It’s where designers debut new pieces, influencers set the season's trends, and the cool kids of the 011 remind the world why Joburg is the fashion capital of the continent.
Commit to the tint, don't just wear a coloured accessory. Go head-to-toe. Texture and layering are your friends when working with a single hue.
Arrive early, the best lighting for your fit pics happens during the golden hour, and the venue usually hits capacity fast.
Keep an eye on their official socials for outfit inspiration to help you source that perfect shade.
Pantone Sundays is back to remind us that life in Johannesburg is never greyscale.
