Pizza lovers in Crowthorne will have to wait a little while before enjoying their favourite slices again from Pizza Perfect. Patrons have been informed that the popular neighbourhood pizzeria has temporarily closed its doors for renovations. The pizzeria closed its doors this week, Monday, 02 March, to make way for upgrades and is expected to reopen during the first week of April. The revamp aims to refresh the space so that the beloved pizza spot can return bolder, bigger and more beautiful for its fans.

For many residents around Crowthorne, Pizza Perfect has become a go-to destination for freshly made, wood-fired pizzas served piping hot. Since opening in the area around 2020, the branch has built a strong following among locals who appreciate its generous toppings and flavour-packed menu.

The Crowthorne store is part of the wider Pizza Perfect franchise, which has been operating since 1989. Over the years, the brand has grown significantly and now boasts more than 100 stores nationwide, serving pizza lovers across South Africa. Beyond South Africa, the brand has also begun expanding into other parts of Africa in recent years, further growing its footprint on the continent.

The pizzeria has also won several awards, including the 2025 Best Takeaway Pizza in Joburg

One of the standout features that keeps customers coming back is the restaurant’s commitment to freshness. Many of the ingredients used in their dishes are prepared in-house, including their signature sauces, which add a distinctive flavour to the pizzas.

Pizza Perfect is also known for regularly updating its menu, introducing new flavours and seasonal options. Among the most popular menu items is the Godfather pizza - a hearty option loaded with generous portions of meat.

While the temporary closure may disappoint regular customers, the good news is that the shutdown is only short-term. Once renovations are complete, locals can expect an upgraded space while still enjoying the same fresh pizzas that have made Pizza Perfect a household name.
