Attention all fitness fanatics, your time to shine has arrived.
HYROX, the global sport of fitness racing, is making its return to Jozi for the second time this year, because, let's be honest, who could stay away?
On 29 and 30 November, the Johannesburg Expo Centre will welcome thousands of athletes, ready to put their grit, strength and sheer determination to the test, in one of the fastest-growing fitness competitions in the world.
And registration is officially open!
What is HYROX?
HYROX is a high-intensity fitness race that combines functional movement with endurance. Competitors face eight workout stations, each followed by a 1 km run.
These stations include:
- SkiErg
- Sled push
- Sled pull
- Burpee broad jump
- Row erg
- Farmers carry
- Lunges
- Wall balls
