South African Airways travellers from Johannesburg to other parts of the world will be thoroughly entertained by a new film that's been added to its in-flight entertainment offerings.

Mufasa: The Lion King, a 2024 musical drama film that serves as a prequel to the 1994 animated film and its 2019 remake, is currently showing on the screens of the top African airline.

"The roar is closer than you think! Mufasa: The Lion King, premieres 1 July onboard South African Airways," wrote SAA on Facebook

To promote the news, the airline shared a fun video of one of its flight attendants taking part in the viral 'Aaron Pierre, that's Mufasa' dance challenge.

The unnamed attendant was shot dancing while the rest of the crew sang: 'Aaron Pierre, that's Mufasa'.

See the heartwarming video below.

Pierre voices Mufasa in The Lion King prequel.

In 2024, he appeared as a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show. Before his interview with Hudson, he participated in the show's spirit tunnel tradition, where staff hype up guests with chants.

Pierre danced as the group of people sang 'Aaron Pierre, that's Mufasa'.

His video went viral. The YouTube video has more than 4-million views.
