Spider-Man is making a stop in Johannesburg this July to promote his new movie, 'Brand New Day'.
Everyone's favourite superhero is taking some time out from his daily routine of keeping the streets of New York safe to say "howzit" to his fans right across the City of Gold and beyond.
Peter Parker, ooops, I mean Spider-Man, will be making seven stops on his tour of Jozi and surrounds, with fans of all ages encouraged to drop by for a photo op.
Head to these Ster-Kinekor cinemas to meet the web-slinger:
- The Zone @ Rosebank on Friday, 17 July from 17h00 to 18h00
- Irene Village Mall on Saturday, 18 July 09h30 to 10h30
- Mall of Africa on Saturday, 18 July from 12h30 to 13h30
- The Grove Mall on Saturday, 18 July from 16h30 to 17h30
- Sandton City on Sunday, 19 July from 14h30 to 15h30
- Eastgate Mall on Sunday, 26 July from 13h00 to 14h00
- Fourways Mall on Wednesday, 29 July from 17h00 to 18h00
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day'
The fourth movie in the newest Spider-Man franchise lands in cinemas on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.
'Brand New Day' will see Spider-Man take on villains such as Scorpion, Tombstone, and The Hand, while the Punisher will make his big-screen debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
We will also see more of Savage Hulk, so it's shaping up to be a classic ahead of the big one releasing at the end of the year, 'Avengers: Doomsday'.
Whether Tom Holland's Spider-Man or another version from previous franchises will feature in 'Avengers: Doomsday' remains to be seen, but more light is expected to be shed on that once 'Brand New Day' hits cinemas.
We will also finally find out who Sadie Sink (of 'Stranger Things' fame) is portraying. Jean Grey? Black Cat?
Too many questions, not long to go for the answers.
