Great news for the little ones, SpongeBob is coming to the city!
The iconic yellow sea sponge will be making its way to the Eastgate Shopping Centre this January. He will bring excitement, laughter, and plenty of underwater fun to families during this holiday season.
The shopping centre shared the exciting announcement with its followers on social media, confirming that SpongeBob will be hosting a special meet-and-greet on the 11th, from 10am until 1 pm. During this time, young ones will have the opportunity to meet the iconic character in person, snap memorable photos and enjoy a fun-filled experience. Known for his cheerful personality and endless adventure, fans can expect nothing short of amazing.
The meet-and-greet will take place at Krispy Kreme Court, the perfect spot to meet the character and grab something sweet to eat.
The event promises to be a highlight for children looking to add a bit of magic to their holiday outings before school officially resumes.
The news comes after the release of SpongeBob: Search for SquarePants, which dropped this December.
The movie will begin screening at the mall's cinemas from 26 December, making Eastgate the ultimate festive-season destination for SquareBob fans.
