Get ready to indulge- Tashas transforms Nelson Mandela Square with fresh new look and signature dishes.

Tashas has long been known for offering more than just great food. From stylish interiors to warm ambience, every location is designed to be visually striking.
Natasha Sideris, the founder and CEO of the Tashas Group, has been living up to her greatest conviction: "I believe that the setting you eat in is every bit as important as what's on your plate."
Her restaurants have an Instagram-worthy vibe, allowing diners to enjoy not only the cuisine but also the atmosphere. Like any well-loved space, periodic renovations are necessary to keep the experience aligned with modern tastes. Earlier this year, the popular restaurant temporarily closed its branch at Nelson Mandela Square on 2 February, announcing that a major revamp was underway to introduce a sophisticated new look.
An update about the renovations was shared on social media over the weekend, sparking excitement among loyal fans and foodies alike.
To tease the upcoming opening, the restaurant shared preview images showcasing elegant gold furnishings paired with lush natural décor, hinting at a fresh, sophisticated design direction for the new space with the abstract' opening soon'.
"The new Tashas Nelson Mandela Square takes its inspiration from Marbella, with light filled details, Mediterranean charm, and a space designed for long mornings and even longer lunches. The food you love will still be at the heart of it all, with a refined touch to timeless flavours," it announced on Instagram, sharing a few pictures of what diners can expect.
While an official opening date has not yet been announced, anticipation continues to build.
Tashas was first opened in Nelson Mandela Square in 2015 and is one of the most popular dining options for visitors to the premier lifestyle destination. Located in Sandton, Nelson Mandela Square is widely regarded as one of Johannesburg's most-loved dining and shopping destinations. At the heart of the square stands a towering six-metre bronze statue of Nelson Mandela, an iconic landmark synonymous with the area.
Once the renovations are complete, the new location promises everything diners love about the brand: delicious, comforting food, and stylish surroundings.
For Johannesburg food lovers, it's another reason to plan a visit to Sandton's iconic square.
