The Good Life Show - Africa's premier food, drink and conscious living event is coming to Johannesburg.
The much-anticipated event will be taking place from 1-3 August at the Kyalami International Convention Centre.
Given the current popularity around the sustainability movement, the event is meant to draw hundreds of attendees.
Currently, about a third of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions is linked to food. According to Daily Maverick, SA's food systems account for 15 to 20% of the country's greenhouse gas emissions.
Not only is healthier food production necessary for people's health, but it also helps to guarantee global food security and reduce environmental harm. According to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), climate change, particularly global warming, affects food security through food availability, accessibility, utilisation and affordability.
The Good Life Show takes pride in being "Africa's first and only event to embrace all the new ways" that people desire to live in terms of sustainability.
It is a place to discover and buy plant-based, natural, wellness and sustainable products. Industry leaders get to network and showcase their organic, high-quality products.
The event started in 2020 and gets hosted in different parts of the country.
