ULTRA South Africa has officially revealed the full lineup for its 11th edition, and it’s shaping up to be one of the festival’s biggest years yet. The global dance music heavyweight returns to Johannesburg on Saturday, 25 April 2026, at the Expo Centre at Nasrec, before heading to The Ostrich in Cape Town on Sunday, 26 April 2026, with tickets already on sale.

Leading the 2026 bill are some of the most in-demand names in electronic music right now. Expect Main Stage fireworks from tech-house phenomenon John Summit, French hitmaker DJ Snake, progressive house icon Axwell, and a high-energy back-to-back set from Afrojack and R3hab. They’ll be joined by a strong supporting lineup including Apashe, Kyle Watson, DJ Kent, TiMO ODV b2b Kyle Cassim, Indigo and Kurt April, among others.

For fans of deeper, underground sounds, the RESISTANCE Stage returns with a world-class roster. New York house legend Dennis Ferrer (lets out a silent scream) and South African powerhouse Shimza top the bill, alongside performances from Major League DJz, Caiiro b3b Da Capo b3b Enoo, Kitty Amor, Kid Fonque, Mpho.Wav and more,  making this one of the strongest RESISTANCE lineups ULTRA SA has hosted to date.

Exclusive to Johannesburg

Johannesburg festivalgoers can also expect the return of The Groove Room, a dedicated space celebrating African electronic music culture. The stage will spotlight influential local and continental acts, including Scorpion Kings, DBN Gogo, Liquideep, Dlala Thukzin, Oscar Mbo, DJ Lag x Que DJ, and Sun-El Musician, offering a high-energy showcase of amapiano, afro-house, and beyond.

Adding to the Joburg-only experience is the debut of the UMF Radio Stage presented by Confessions.za, an intimate platform for boundary-pushing sounds. Artists on this stage include Dean Fuel, Cinimin, Chunda Munki, Vimo, Connie, Aidin Caye, Mia, Skelm, Jevan Binder and Threemanweave.

Since launching locally in 2014, ULTRA South Africa has become a cornerstone of the country’s music calendar, drawing tens of thousands of fans each year and hosting a who’s who of global electronic music heavyweights. The 2026 edition lands on a massive long weekend, transforming Nasrec into a full-scale, world-class festival destination, complete with cutting-edge production, top-tier sound and the unmistakable ULTRA atmosphere.

ULTRA South Africa is part of the ULTRA Worldwide family, the most international festival brand on the planet, with events across all six inhabited continents and its flagship ULTRA Music Festival in Miami setting the global benchmark.
