 The Bioscope's Knit-in-Cinema: Practical Magic

  • Time: 2 pm
  • Location: The Bioscope, 44 Stanley Ave, Milpark
  • Tickets: R84.50 (including service fee). Click here to purchase.

Who says Halloween has to be all chills and gore? Sometimes, the best way to celebrate is by getting cosy with a comforting, nostalgic film. The Bioscope’s Knit-In Cinema offers just that: an inviting, well-lit screening where you can knit, crochet, or sew while watching the beloved Halloween classic, Practical Magic.

This film follows two witch sisters, raised by their quirky aunts in a small town, as they navigate the trials of prejudice and a family curse that threatens their chances at true love.

Time Out Tip: Bring your own materials and ongoing project, or contribute to a good cause by knitting squares for a blanket drive. All completed blankets will be donated to mothers in underprivileged areas of Johannesburg.
