A young Zambian pilot flew to Johannesburg simply to buy groceries, proving that the city remains a top shopping destination.

There is no doubt that Johannesburg is home to some of the best malls on the African continent. When it comes to grocery shopping and food stores, Jozi truly delivers.
A young pilot named Manwezi Chisha recently flew to Johannesburg to buy groceries. Although she is from Zambia and has previously shared several videos of her flights between the two countries, it is unclear where she departed from in this particular video. However, she did mention that "after what felt like forever", she finally arrived in Johannesburg to very hot weather.
Manwezi took to Instagram to share the experience, documenting the journey from take-off to landing using her private jet. She landed at Grand Central Airport in Midrand. Manwezi travelled with a friend, Juliet Mafukidze, and after landing in Johannesburg, the pair headed to Mall of Africa in Midrand, using Uber to get around.
In the video, Manwezi can be seen shopping at Woolworths Food, where she bought flowers, vegetables, nuts, Oros, toothpaste, and meat, amongst other items.
The video quickly caught attention online, with many social media users praising the duo for “living their best life.” And honestly, it’s not hard to see why. Johannesburg’s unmatched vibe, world-class malls, and endless attractions continue to draw thousands of visitors from across the continent and beyond.
"So unbelievably cool. Did this once with a friend. We flew from the Netherlands to Germany for a drink and lunch only," wrote one user on the IG post.
"Oh!! Nothing fills my soul like seeing the girlies living their best lives!!!" another user added.
