We've all experienced that moment of horror when we accidentally switch on our phone's front camera and recoiled at the rather unflattering look at our own face. So, how do you think you could cope when all your wobbly bits are subjected to 270mph winds in the world's first 'high speed selfie' booth?
By way of celebrating its £3 billion, high speed broadband rollout to four million homes across the UK, Virgin Media will be setting up this curious (and free) photobooth outside Debenhams in Briggate for September 16-17, from 10am-6pm.
The ‘high speed selfie’ booth will provide visitors with the unique experience of being photographed while being buffeted by winds of up to 270mph, giving the effect of g-force on their facial features. The hilarious (although probably not ideal for your LinkedIn profile) photos can then be instantly printed and emailed to keep for posterity.
Make sure you brush your teeth before taking a seat – although you probably won't need to worry about your hair...
