Time Out says

Starring Michael Praed, Noel Sullivan, Carley Stenson and guest-starring Mark Benton.

With films seeming to supply theatre producers with a never ending opportunity to throw in some songs, add a few dance routines and turn it into 'the best stage musical for years' if the poster is anything to go by, they're having to dig deep to mine an overmined field.

So along comes 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels', a version of the film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin which, frankly, nobody really cared that much for and which didn't do that well at the box office.

Good to report, then, that this a glorious night out, the tale of two con men on opposite sides of the social con class making for a truly inspired and funny musical.

The original cast of Rufus Hound (brilliant) and Robert Lindsay (wooden as a plank) have long gone but the quality of the piece should carry any decent cast along nicely.
