In FE 102: Behavioral Economics, you learned about the effect of emotional factors and unreliable logic on people’s financial decision making. In this follow-up workshop, you’ll explore the cycle of poverty and the ways in which family systems, cultural roles, and institutions and policies affect individuals and their finances. Through the Advanced Behavioral Economics workshop, you’ll gain new insights to help you approach the people you serve with a better understanding of the factors that affect their financial lives.

This training is offered for free as part of the Community Financial Empowerment Certification program, presented in partnership with Louisville Metro Community Services. This training qualifies as a continuing education component of the Level 2 Certification. This training is open to everyone, but only those participants who have previously completed a Level 1 Certification are eligible to use training credit towards Level 2 Certification.
