Parents for Social Justice says
Did you ever wonder what you would do in the Civil Rights Movement? Now is the time to find out.

Please join us for a training on how to promote social justice to your family, friends, community and the world. Learn how to use your particular skills and comfort level to make a stand and take action.

Local activists Carla Wallace, Sonja DeVries, Michele Hemenway, and David Lott will speak as will Shannon Stone Porter, founder of Mama to Mama and Mama's Hip.

All levels of activism background are encouraged to attend, we will meet you where you are.

Babysitting (which will include some awesome social justice crafts) and a lunch following the training are provided. We are asking for a $10 fee to pay for these things, but if this is cost prohibitive please let us know and we can work with you.
