We are proud to announce a partnership with Louisville Underground Science presenting "Beer With a Scientist", a monthly series to inform & educate the public on diverse scientific topics. Join us Next Month as we discover how the relationship between humans and alcohol has shaped our history, society and behavior!!! Dr. Gavin Arteel, Professor and Distinguished University Scholar, will delve into the following topics: -How has alcohol altered the history of humankind? -How/where was alcohol invented/discovered? -If alcohol is a supposed depressant, then why do we sing and dance on table tops after consuming!??!?!? -Has alcohol altered the evolution of humans?!? -What are the physiological effects of alcohol? -What is a 'hangover' and how can I avoid them??
