Gear for serious amateur palentologists, the symposium features talks on Saturday, August 13 (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m) and a field trip to collect Ordovician fossils on Sunday, August 14 (8:00 a.m. to ?).

Also includes a behind the scenes tour of the park's fossil collection and a guided tour of "An Ancient Sea" gallery by Alan Goldstein, the state park's paleontologist / naturalist.

Interpretive Center admission, parking and snacks are provided with registration. Meals are not included, although we will reserve space for any conference attendee to dine in a group at a riverfront restaurant.
