Join us for a tour of Chef John’s favorite Kentucky Small Batch Rye Whiskeys! We’ll be featuring some of your favorite small batch ryes, including Jim Beam Rye, Russell’s Reserve 6 Year Rye, Bulleit Rye, and Knob Creek Rye. We’ll be joined for the evening by Tara Schaefer, CSW, CSS who will be on hand to discuss Kentucky’s rich bourbon and rye whiskey history!

The cost of this dinner will be $55 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required with a credit card and can be made by calling (502) 899-9904 or emailing letsdine@varanese.com. A $25 per seat fee will be charged for reservations not cancelled within 24 hours of the event.

Oven-Roasted Broccoli Salad with Golden Raisins, Creamy Bleu Cheese, Smoked Walnuts, and Rye Crostini

Third Course
Entrée Cocktail – “Italian Rye Manhattan”
Bourbon Barrel Smoked Pastrami served with Spicy Grilled Purple Cabbage and Gruyere Whipped Potatoes finished with a Rye Whiskey & Mushroom Demi

Fourth Course
Dessert Cocktail – “Grilled Peach Sazarac”
Grilled Peach with Vanilla Ice Cream topped with a Rye-Honey Bourbon Sauce
