I (Shelli Carpenter) will be teaching this class and hope that you will join me for this trasformative practice!
I am a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher, having completed the Aquarian Teacher Training program at the Kundalini Research Institute in 2009 and continue to make Kundalini Yoga an integral part of my personal practice. I incorporate many of the Meditations and Pranayama practices into my Hatha, Yin Yoga, and Vinyasa classes as I believe that these all work very well and effectively together.

Kundalini Yoga is for ALL LEVELS!
Yes, beginners will be fine in this class!!
Please come and give it a try; I think you will find it interesting, fun, invigorating, and very calming, and stress-relieving!

Some Basics:
1. Practice at least an hour after a light meal or two hours after a heavy meal. You do not want to feel full or hungry; either of these can cause distraction and/or discomort.
2. See how it feels to wear clean white or light colored clothing. Tie up your hair and cover your head witha white covering; this may help with your abitlity to focus and contain your energy.
3. Just like in our other yoga practices, bare feet are recommeded. You will feel more connected to the Earth and her grounding energy. Also, less chance of slipping and falling : )
4. PLEASE DO NOT bring sheepskin or any animal skin, to practice on; we have yoga mats and cotton blankets if you need to borrow something. In support of our peace-centered community and in adherence to the practice of ahimsa (non-harming/non-violence), we do not allow the animal skins in our vegan practice space.
5. Come with an open mind. There's always something to learn in every situation. Come and see what happens for you! ♥
