Fairness Campaign says
The LGBT Citizens Police Academy is a partnership between Kentucky's Fairness Campaign and the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).

The academy is a six-week program held on Thursday nights, 7-9:30 p.m. at various locations throughout the city February 26-April 2.

The LGBT Citizens Police Academy is set to address topics including:

Violent Crimes & Homicide
Crisis Intervention
Cyber Safety
Domestic Violence & More

The Academy is FREE & open to all LGBT and allied people who contact or the Fairness Campaign office at (502) 893-0788 by February 20. Registration is limited!

Participants must be available for at least five weeks of the six-week program and registration is limited. Upon formal graduation held April 2, participants will be officially acknowledged by the Louisville Metro as CPA alumni and may participate in ongoing monthly meetings and apply for the Volunteer In Police Services (VIPS) program.
