ABOUT FLAMENCO LOUISVILLE
Flamenco Louisville is an inclusive, participatory community of dancers, musicians, teachers and aficionados who wish to keep the Flamenco experience present in our lives though we live far from Spain. Through classes, performances and juergas (flamenco parties), we share our passion with our home community of Louisville, KY and communities throughout the region. We are committed to the practice and presentation of Flamenco Puro - the most authentic form of flamenco music and dance. The performers you will see tonight have dedicated themselves to developing their skills as flamenco artists through intense study and practice including travel to Spain and ongoing collaborations with excellent fellow-artists here in the US.
