The Real Inspector Hound Presented By Acting Against Cancer says
Please join Acting Against Cancer - formerly known as Kids Acting Against Cancer - for the final show of its 2014-2015 season: an immersive theatre experience unlike anything you've seen before!

From the moment guests step into The Alley Theater for The Real Inspector Hound, they will be swept into a fully interactive theatre experience. The lobby of the theater will be transformed for each performance into a mysterious speakeasy: The Underground Hound Lounge. For the first hour, audience members will socialize in the lounge and slowly find themselves blending into the story. Collaborating closely with the actors from the show, the guests will begin to uncover a mystery that holds the key to unlocking the puzzling center of The Real Inspector Hound.

Guests will then make their way into the theatre to witness the baffling whodunit of The Real Inspector Hound wherein two London theatre critics are watching a murder mystery much in the style of an Agatha Christie drama. Or are they? The smarmy and pompous Birdboot and the insecure but skillful Moon look on from the audience as the lines delineating spectator and spectacle begin to bend. Critics soon become actors and actors become critics as identities and realities are blurred in Tom Stoppard’s hysterical, uproarious and perplexing postmodern masterpiece.

Admission includes participation in the preshow mystery, an intoxicating concoction and, of course, a seat for The Real Inspector Hound. The entire experience will last two hours and is appropriate for all ages.
