On World Water Day, Louisville Water and WaterStep partner for an event that includes hands-on experiences in the WaterWorks Museum that look at both local and global water issues. Children’s activities include a “Water Ball” obstacle course, a Bucket Brigade and “Where’s the Water” globe toss with a 72” inflatable globe The event also features “Saving Lives with Safe Water” information sessions offered at 11:00am, 1:00pm and 3:00pm by WaterStep educator John McIntyre. Come to the event and bring shoes to support WaterStep’s “Tractor Trailer fill up”. Bring shoes you no longer use to donate to the effort, which will support safe water projects around the world. Plus, Louisville Water asks visitors to surrender a single use, plastic water bottle and in exchange receive a Louisville pure tap© re-fillable bottle. Admission to the WaterWorks Museum ranges from $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for youths. Children under five are free.
