The work of the 'Mexican maestro' comes to Madrid in the shape of a selection of photographs that make up a declaration of love to his native country. In the same vein as works by Ansel Adams, Paul Strand and Edward Weston, among other great photographers of the 20th century, those in this show are a good example of technical virtuosity and the poetic value of images where he managed to capture the soul of Mexico, the essence of its people and its landscape, helping to forge an image of the country around the world.
