Named after a copla singer who ran away from her abusive American millionaire husband and opened this bar. In 1872 he found her and murdered her, and 'tis said her ghost still prowls within the red-brick walls. What is not known is whether she approves of the jazz, funk and house, or the fab tostas, slathered in mozzarella, tomato and basil; caramelised onion with brie, or smoked salmon with camembert.
