981 Heritage: Silver Apples

Simeon, of the legendary New York duo he formed with the late Dan Taylor, presents the songs of 'Clinging to a Dream' (2016), Silver Apples' first studio album in 19 years. With these 11 new songs, Simeon continues with the tradition started back in 1967 of mixing purely electronic sounds (including Taylor's drums) with poetic melodies, the result of 40 years of polishing and refining an experiment that sounds as fresh as the first day.
