Giant Sand

Out of Tucson, Arizona, and led by Howe Gelb, Giant Sand is one of the biggest acts on the americana and roots rock scene in recent decades. Following a short period on pause, the group got back together in the studio to re-record their first album, the influential 'Valley of Rain' (1985), which Gelb re-christened 'Returns to Valley of Rain' (2018). The goal is to get the sound they didn't think they could get at the time, and put a new spin on songs that are already part of American music history.
