The Women in Jazz concert series in Sala Clamores brings New Yorker Indra Rios-Moore to town. One of the big sensations on the jazz scene, Rios-Moore presents her latest album, 'Carry My Heart'. Raised on Manhattan's Lower East Side by her African-American father with Syrian roots – himself a jazz bassist – and her Puerto Rican mother, Indra's first album, 'Heartland' (2015), features covers of songs by artists like David Bowie and Pink Floyd. Her latest effort has captivated jazz fans, thanks to her amazing and elegant voice. She's accompanied onstage tonight by saxophonist Benjamin Traerup and double bassist Masatoshi Kamaguchi.
