About Staff Sgt. (Res.) Yonat Daskal

As one of only a handful of women to serve inside Gaza during Operation Protective Edge, Staff Sgt. (Res.) Yonat Daskal is an IDF paramedic with a special unit of the Nahal Brigade.

Entering by foot with members of the Nahal Infantry Brigade, she spent a majority of the conflict inside Gaza treating her colleagues during Operation Protective Edge.

Please join us and meet one of the true heroes of Operation Protective Edge. Not only will you hear her personal story, but we will be offering an exclusive Q & A session as well.

About Friends of the Israel Defense Forces

Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) was established in 1981 by a group of Holocaust survivors to provide for the education and wellbeing of the men and women who serve in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) as well as the families of fallen soldiers.

Friends of the IDF is the only non-profit organization in the United States whose sole mission is focused on the support of the IDF soldiers who protect the State of Israel.

FIDF is the official organization raising funds in the United States on behalf of the IDF and its soldiers.
