Memphis Brooks Museum, Chinese Connection Dub Embassy, Neosoulville, Amurica, Memphis Urban League Young Professionals (MULYP), Boom Project Beat Clinic, Waiting Room and more announce the ALL ACCESS party for "This Light of Ours" and "Artists/Activists" exhibits! We'll be hosting a very special edition of The Word and a Traxploitation Beat Battle on site! Plus art-making galore, Kehinde Wiley-esque photo portraits, DJ Red Eye aka Luke Sexton, a gallery talk by Frankd Robinson, and much more!

All Access is an invitation for attendees 21+ to play, create and connect with museum spaces. In celebration of the exhibitions This Light of Ours: Activist Photographers of the Civil Rights Movement and Artists/Activists: Marcellous Lovelace, Frank D. Robinson, and Siphne Sylve, the Brooks’ public programs department, Memphis Urban League Young Professionals, ThinkBlk, Amurica, Chinese Connection Dub Embassy, Beat Clinic, and Neosoulville/The Word will combine multiple creative practices—including art-making, music, film, photography, a Traxploitation Beat Battle, and a gallery talk by Frank D. Robinson—staged throughout the entire museum to provide intentionally designed opportunities for strangers to interact. Cash bar. Must be 21+ to attend.

Advance tickets: $12/$7 Brooks and MULYP members. Advance ticket sales close at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, April 15.

At the door: $15/$10 Brooks and MULYP members.
