Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

The name of this gallery must be read backwards: arhte. It’s an early twentieth century house that became a space dedicated to contemporary art four years ago.

The transformation of this house into a gallery comes from the premise that pieces on display will create the main concept of this space, given the fact that they didn’t alter the building to preserve its essence.

The only relevant changes made were the kitchen with catering service during special events and a balcony with a wooden floor, conferring the gallery a special touch with the combination of contemporary and classical architecture.

Ethra has five exhibition halls, two on the ground floor, two on the first floor and a special room for exhibition panels, plus one for customer service.

This place showcases a variety of art works by established artists with a consolidated career and young artists with a strong and solid path. Javier Guadarrama, Manuel Pujol Baladas, Pamela Martinez, Eric Perez, Alejandro Santiago, Elvira Sarmiento and Adrian Procel are the artists among the permanent exhibition.
