Pulling back the glass doors you'll enter a place full of photographs, this gallery, which bears the name of its creator, specializes in contemporary Mexican photography. It is one of the few places in Mexico that is exclusively dedicated to the exposition and promotion of photographic art.

The main intention of the gallery is showing the work of Mexican artists that portray what actually happened in national pictures. This space showcases photographs printed in different ways and using different techniques.

Another aim of the gallery is to show the public the artistic and historical importance of photography for Mexico as well showing how collectible and accessible photography is.

During its three years it has showcased photographers such as Bernáldez Cannon, Patricia Lagarde, Francisco Mata, Yolanda Andrade, Susana Casarin, José Antonio Martínez, Alejandro Cartagena, Adam Wiseman, Marianna Dellekamp and Laura Cohen.

One of the most recent victories for this gallery is that one of its artists Adam Wiseman, has been nominated for the Prix Pictet, the first global award focused on photography and sustainability, which will be awarded in 2014.

Patricia Conde Gallery participates annually in contemporary art fairs such as Zona Maco, Paris Photo and Context Miami.
